白井 圭（ヴァイオリン） Kei Shirai,violin
トリニダード・トバゴ共和国生まれ。東京藝術大学卒業。徳永二男、大谷康子、故田中千香士、堀正文、故ゴールドベルク山根美代子の各氏に師事。2007年よりウィーン国立音楽演劇大学でヨハネス・マイスル氏に学ぶ。日本音楽コンクール第2位及び増沢賞(2001)、ARDミュンヘン国際音楽コンクール第2位及び聴衆賞(2009)など、多くのコンクールで受賞歴を持つ。ソリストとして、チェコ・フィル、新日本フィル、神戸市室内合奏団、ミュンヘン室内管などと共演。2011年9月より半年間、ウィーン国立歌劇場管弦楽団及びウィーン・フィルの契約団員として活躍。現在も拠点をウィーンに置きながら、セイジ・オザワ松本フェスティバル、木曽福島音楽祭など数多く参加している。
2018年3月まで神戸市室内合奏団 コンサートマスター、2020年4月より2023年3月までNHK交響楽団ゲスト・コンサートマスターを務める。
Fontecより「シューマン：ヴァイオリンとピアノのための作品集（ピアノ=伊藤恵）」、ベートーヴェン：ピアノ三重奏曲（トリオ・アコード）」をリリース。

Kei Shirai, Violine (Japan): Der japanische Geiger Kei Shirai wurde in Trinidad und Tobago geboren und begann im Alter von drei Jahren Geige zu spielen. Als Kind wurde er von Tsugio Tokunaga und während seines Studiums an der Geidai Universität der Künste in Tokio von Chikashi Tanaka und Miyoko Yamane-Goldberg unterrichtet. Nach seinem Abschluss im Jahr 2007 erhielt Kei Shirai ein Stipendium der japanischen Regierung, um sein Studium an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Wien bei Johannes Meissl fortzusetzen. Zu seinen Auszeichnungen bei großen internationalen Wettbewerben zählen der zweite Preis und der Publikumspreis beim ARD-Wettbewerb 2009 in München. Kei hat eine facettenreiche Karriere als Solist und Kammermusiker. Seine Konzertverpflichtungen führen ihn häufig zu Japans größten Festivals. In Europa tritt er regelmäßig mit dem Stefan Zweig Trio auf. Kei Shirai ist Konzertmeister des NHK Symphony Orchestra in Tokio. Japanese violinist Kei Shirai was born in Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and began his violin study at the age of three and studied further under Tsugio Tokunaga from six years old. At Tokyo University for the Arts, he was taught by Chikashi Tanaka and Miyoko Yamane-Goldberg. Upon his graduation in 2007, Kei Shirai won the Scholarship from the Agency of Cultural Affairs for overseas study at University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna with Johannes Meissl. Among his awards at major international competitions are the second prize and the audience prize at the 2009 ARD Competition in Munich. Kei enjoys a multi-faced career as a recitalist, concerto soloist and chamber musician. His concert engagements take him frequently to Japan’s biggest venues and festivals. In Europe he performs regularly with the Stefan Zweig Trio and the Ludwig Chamber Players which is a highly acclaimed mixed instrumentation ensemble based in Stuttgart Kei Shirai is guest concert master of the NHK Symphony Orchestra since April 2020.
